Tammam Azzam Gallery Kornfeld Berlin 2021

The long-standing collaboration with the Berlin gallery Kornfeld has produced this artistic intervention in urban space. On the occasion of the completion of Tammam Azzam's exhibition, his pictures appear on the buildings of the political decision-makers.

Kota Ezawa "The Fall and Rise of Berlin Wall" Documentary 2021

This production and documentation was created as part of the collaboration with Galerie Kornfeld Berlin. A film about the history of the Berlin Wall projected on the Berlin Wall. An artistic urban intervention through video projection.

Deutsche Oper Berlin 2021

The German Opera Berlin celebrates its hundredth birthday with a video installation on the facade of its building. Historical recordings are mixed with event announcements. This occasion led us to develop a fully automated system to operate, monitor and manage multimedia installations.

Long night of Graveyard Berlin 2022

Once again after the enforced break, this event found an overwhelming audience. The combination of music, lighting and personal guidance made this evening something to remember. Cemeteries are cemetery spaces. A place to gather and to remember. Again, under the difficult conditions of a place completely without electrical installation, as well as without basic light to illuminate in the dark.

Berlin Light Festival 2019

As part of the Berlin Light Festival 2019, a water wall installation was realized in a construction gap. We developed a pop-up fountain system and transformed a construction site into a contemporary art object. Some positive side effects occurred: the water wall improved the air quality immensely through humidification and flushing, and the sound of the fountain drowned out the street noise of a big city intersection in a relaxing way.

Scharfenberg erleuchtet 2022

School Farm Scharfenberg on an island in Lake Tegel is a reform educational project that this year celebrated its 100th anniversary. As part of the celebration year, a course was held with the students that found its presentation to the public in deep lockdown reality. Thousands of guests gathered here again in person to celebrate together after a long lonely winter.

Long Night of Graveyard Berlin 2019

In cooperation with the cemetery administration of the protestant cemeteries Berlin, the first Long Night of the Cemeteries was lifted out of the eaves. AirGlobe designed and realized the lighting design of the event. A special challenge was the complete absence of electricity in the area. The missing night lighting had to be compensated. This was achieved with battery spotlights and mobile power supply. We managed to create an intimate and atmospheric ambience for this first-time event.

Berlin Light Festival 2020

In September 2020 AirGlobe provided all-embracing technical and artistic support for Berlin Leuchtet Festival. In seven days of show time, eight video works by international artists were projekted on Berlin buildings, including such capital highlights as Brandenburg Gate and Oberbaumbrücke or Gedächtniskirche. We managed to create a technical ecosystem that allowed automatic functioning of all installations without any manual operation. During the festival we also presented our water wall installation.
